Your customers are already hunting for the best price.
RangeWise.ca makes sure they find yours — even if they have never heard of your shop.
Ranked by depth of discount
A large, growing audience — and a retail side almost nobody can see all of.
Canada has more licensed firearms owners than ever recorded, and the number has risen in 15 of the last 16 years. What buyers do not have is any practical way to see across the businesses serving them.

We are an index, not a competitor.
The single most important thing to understand before anything else: RangeWise never sells anything. There is no cart, no checkout, no transfer, no inventory. Every listing is a signpost pointing back to your own product page, where the sale happens on your terms.
What RangeWise does
- Lists current pricing and links every product straight back to the retailer's own page
- Ranks by percentage saved, so the best deal surfaces regardless of who is selling it
- Calculates cost per round, so buyers can compare across pack sizes honestly
- Shows a Buying choices link when several retailers match on price, rather than picking a winner
- Will link to independent reviews from trusted content creators, so buyers can research before they click through
What RangeWise never does
- Take a commission, a referral fee, or any cut of a sale
- Sell placement, promoted slots, or advertising of any kind
- Complete a transaction, hold stock, or handle a transfer
- Rewrite your pricing, your product copy, or your terms
- Charge you anything, at any tier, ever
Ranking by discount is a leveller.
On a search engine, visibility follows ad budget and domain authority. Large chains win by default. RangeWise sorts on one thing: how much a buyer saves right now.
A shop in Thunder Bay with a genuinely sharp price on 12 gauge sits above a national chain that does not — on the same page, in the same list, with the same prominence. Being lesser known costs you nothing here. Being competitively priced is the entire ranking signal.
That is the whole idea behind the name. We want Canadians to be RangeWise about what they are paying, and that means putting the whole country's pricing in one place instead of the three or four shops they happen to have bookmarked.
Three ways to work with us. Start wherever you are comfortable.
You do not have to commit to all of it. Most retailers begin at the first step and move along as they see what the traffic looks like.
STEP 01
Have a conversation
Tell us what you would need to see before you were comfortable being listed, and what you would want us to avoid. We would rather design around your concerns than find out about them later.
STEP 02
Consent to be listed
Written permission to include your catalogue, plus one contact for corrections. You can ask us to change or remove anything, and we act on it — no negotiation, no retention period.
STEP 03
Send a clean feed
A CSV, an API endpoint, or a feed URL. Your pricing is then exactly what you say it is, updated when you update it — and we stop reading your site, which takes the load off your server.
What you get in return.
We are building the founding list now.
RangeWise is pre-launch. The retailers who come in at this stage help shape how listings work before the rules are set — which categories matter, how stock status is shown, what you never want scraped.
If any of this is interesting, reply to this note. If it is not, tell us why and we will take your catalogue off the list.
